Mistakes

I'm wearing: dress made by Lilian, Target shirt,Old Navy scarf,Payless booties, UO tights, HoneyRoom sunglasses, vintage bag

I have realized that through the photos I take for my blog I can observe my mistakes in outfits. When I first put this outfit together Friday, I thought it was cute. Now when I study the photos I realize the many flaws of it.The striped tights make my thighs look bigger than they are, the headband scarf reminds me of a peasant and the dress just does not fit right. This dress was a gift by one of my classmates in fashion school. She had made it as a project and I kept raving about it so at the end of the semester she gave it to me. Unfortunately I think there are some fit problems with this dress. We were young then and inexperienced in our techniques. I saw her graduating collection and I have to say it was one of the best from the whole class.

You're right. I always see my mistakes looking to my pics. It's better than the mirror. But in this case, I think that your outfit it's ok, the dress is pretty cute.

How many amazing tights did you buy? hahaha...

I don't believe in mistakes only lessons. Really though, they aren't mistakes, they are just things that stick out a bit to you, and you might avoid next time.

Although, in my opinion, you look great.

i like the dress for the most part ... i see that it is a bit off on the bust line but i like the pink femininne vibe of it ..
also am loving the tights ... sometimes that camera makes things look a bit different who knows ...

the bag is lovely, as the tights and the dress are. But don't see the dress going right in this combination, maybe 'cause of the light, summery material paired with boots and tights. I would try to work it our in some masculine blazer combination with higher, open shoes, maybe with a couple of thin colourful belts added for some interest and some volume correction. Or the sporty way - a hoodie for layering and some sneakers?
but no, i do not consider them mistakes, the more you try and experiment, the more your outfits look interesting and You. so, don't stop playing with your wardrobe and sharing the results with us through your blog ;)
