Let them eat Cake!

Dress: Celia Birtwell for Express
Shoes: Nina ( these were my prom shoes.. hihi)

Yesterday was nothing special... I didn't really go out except to walk Max and get that wonderful cupcake. I was re-watching the third season of Sex and the City when Carrie and Miranda go to Magnolia Bakery and eat a cupcake and I started craving one so badly.

Yesterday, I also received my first mean comment. I heard some bloggers say that you are not a real blogger till u receive your first negative comment. Well i got mine yesterday by some girl named Irinna who decided to post her comment as anonymous so I would have no way to see who she is and what she is all about. Irinna decided to state the obvious and tell me how short my legs are ( like i didn't know that) and how most of my outfits only bring that out. Thx Irinna, after years of struggling with accepting my body, you made me feel insecure about it again.

I don't mind constructive criticism. I have told u in the past when I didn't like an outfit and I happily accepted your feedback of what I could do to improve. If Irinna wanted to give me constructive criticism she should have firstly not posted her comment as an anonymous ( that is the first thing that shows that she knew her comment was mean but she posted it anyway) and secondly she should have told me what I can do to improve my looks and how I can wear each outfit to make my legs look longer.

I will say it once again, that I am not a model nor do I pretend to be one. I am a real person and this is the way clothes look on me. This blog is a way for me to share my style with people who love fashion just as much as I do. If u have a problem with the way my body looks I recommend to just stop visiting my blog and go read a fashion magazine with tall, skinny models.

Dominatrix

I got my Bloglovin to work,so you can follow me on there too!

Blazer: BCBG
Leggings: Zara
Shoes: Aldo
Cuff: vintage
Necklace: Gift
Tank: Old Navy

I went shopping yesterday and I finally got some leathery leggings. I have been wanting a pair since last year but i was unsure if I wanted to pay the $49.00 CDN for a pair at AA. Then i saw this pair at Zara for $29.00. Again I'm naming this outfit my Dominatrix outfit.

My bf doesn't like the pants. We already had a discussion about them, how he thinks they are inappropriate and only single girls who need male attention wear those kind of pants. I joked with him that I will wear them on our trip to Victoria tomorrow. He threatened me that if I do , he will wear a tracksuit cause he knows how much it annoys me when men or women wear tracksuits for anything other than jogging or hiking.

Reversing into Fall

Dress & Necklace: Vintage
Tights & Shoes: H&M

I was planning on a more summary outfit since it's been so hot in Vancouver lately. But by the time my photographer came home yesterday, it got really cold outside therefore I had to resort to this fall dress.

P.S. Yes i know the hem of the dress has come undone. I'm just to lazy to sew it back on.

the photo quality isn't as great as i used my normal camera instead of the canon.

Bejeweled

Sweater: thrifted
Leggings: H&M
Shoes: Borrowed from my sis... she got them at Payless.
Bag: Borrowed from my mom.

Last Saturday I went to a flea market where i spotted this what i though then ugly 80's jeweled sweater. Although I kept telling myself how hideous it is, there was something that attracted me to it so much that I had to buy it. My mind is still not completely made up about it but i love how cozy it is.

Today I went out for lunch at an all you can eat Indian restaurant with my mom and sis. I love Indian food. Then we wondered around this antique store nearby and stared at the amazing silver dinning items. After, we went to this store that has reworked vintage leather jackets. Unfortunately the ones that I liked did not come in my size. Sad! :(

I'm back at my parent's house....therefore my photographer was my baby sis again. She always has a great time making fun of my poses and my face expressions while she take the pics. She just got back from Disneyland so we had the idea of styling the outfit around the lollipops she brought back.
