Annie Hall and the Fire Station

Wearing: H&M pants, Balenciaga shoes from Fall 09, vintage Chanel bag, Zara shirt, vintage hat and belt and Ray Bans

Unintentionally, I channeled Diane Keaton's famous Annie Hall look, mostly through the manly pants and the hat. I took these photos at an heritage fire station building around downtown. Every time I pass by this fire station I remember my walk with one of my friends earlier this year. During this walk I was extremely deep in conversation, explaining to her some "very serious" stuff that were happening in my life. I soon realize that none of my "serious stuff" was actually going through her head when she randomly started chatting and flirting with one of the firefighters at the station. The whole time that I was explaining her my deep and troubled thoughts, she was eyeing him from afar, waiting patiently to get close to him to chat him up. What is it with girls and firefighters???

Anyways I have my final mid-term tomorrow and instead of studying philosophy which I officially hate, I am blogging with a glass of white wine which I am sooooooooo enjoying at this moment. If this glass continues into seconds and thirds, then I fear tomorrow. Oh and the wine I'm drinking is a gift from the flirty firefighter friend I just told you about.

P.S. No, I do not have an alcohol problem. Although if you've ever partied with me, you would probably think otherwise.

Where is my summer?

Wearing:an H&M blazer with sleeves way too long, vintage skirt and belt, Joe Fresh camisole,Stella Mcartney mesh sandals from spring 09, Devi Kroell for Target bag( my go to bag these days)

Sorry for not posting anything the whole week but my school life has taken over my WHOLE life and it hasn't stopped yet. This whole semester has been chaotic. Too many exams, too many papers, too many projects. This is not the way summer is supposed to be. I need a break from it all. I know that I will miss these school days once they are over but at this moment all I really want is just to be a working girl! As it is apparent from these pictures, the stress is accumulating on my face. I took 193 photos yesterday of this outfit and these were the best I could come up with. Now I'm not the most photogenic person in the world, but still I look like a crack addict in the majority of them.
I'm in desperate need of a warm vacation. The weather in Vancouver hasn't been too great either. That's why right after my last exam I'm off to CABO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Safari Dress

Wearing: Target dress, vintage faux-croc skin belt,H&M sandals, hat bought on my latest trip to Victoria while the bag was a gift.

This dress is the easiest thing to wear in the summer. Just throw it on and go! I love this kind of dressing! Although it may seem otherwise, I'm one of the lowest maintenance people you will ever meet. My take on fashion is that it should be as comfortable as it looks good. If it doesn't then I don't buy it. Although I enjoy looking at all those creative masochists for inspiration, I love myself too much to put clothes ahead of me!

BTW, the lovely Monica from Make-up in Vancouver has featured my coral lipstick on her blog. I had no idea till now that coral is the colour of the season in beauty. I just wear it cause I hate how classic red looks on me. According to my mom, my gramma wore this shade of lipstick all her life. How funny that we have the same tastes. For those of you who care the lipstick is from Cargo in the Evangeline shade.

Till later, Cherio!!!!!!!!

These are no days of June

Looking through these photos I have realized that I take really long strides when I walk. I mean look at me! Who walks like this? Only a retard obviously!

Wearing:H&M shirt and belt, Zara skirt and bag, Stella Mcartney Mesh Sandals.

Last Saturday was the first sunny warm day in a while and it wasn't really that warm. 17 degrees in June? Who has heard of this? I still take a jacket with me when I go outside. Still we got to enjoy a lovely day on Saturday. I played tennis in the morning, then I went for a long walk around Stanley Park, ate ice cream at English Bay and then went for Ramen in the evening.
I have proclaimed my love for Ramen numerous time on this blog, but in case you haven't noticed I will say it again: I LOVE RAMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can eat it every week, every day! There are a couple of places I go to. This time we chose Kintaro despite their usual long wait lines. The atmosphere isn't as great as others but I think they make the most delicious Ramen out of all the other places.

H&M Garden Collection

Wearing: H&M Garden Collection blazer, Zara tee and shorts, Aldo cage wedges.

This is this Friday night's outfit. I wore this to a dinner party at my friend's house. Although I bought this blazer from the H&m Garden Collection a long time ago, basically as soon as it hit stores, I stopped myself from wearing it at the beginning since the blogosphere was full of everyone's take on it. Still I love this piece to death and I don't regret buying it. In my opinion it was the best piece in the whole collection. I actually didn't buy anything else cause it all seemed mediocre compared to this piece. Funny thing H&M Vancouver still has a whole rack of these blazer. Guess they didn't do to well here which is good for me. Muahahaha!!!!!!!!

A feeling of uneasiness

Wearing: Vintage Chanel bag from the 80's, Vintage blouse and brooch, Aldo Leggings,Target pumps.

I deleted the original paragraph in order to save myself! I am definitely going nuts!

Here is the original paragraph written:
"Sometimes in life, people make stupid choices which they later regret. Sometimes they get excited too fast about something they should have been cautious and in that moment they make a huge mistake. Not knowing the future effects of that decision leads to a sense of uneasiness. This is how I feel!Months of hard work have basically been pushed to the side in one swift move. This will either be the biggest mistake I have made, making me look like a fool, or one of the most courageous things that will shape my future in a whole different way. Or really it wont have any effect whatsoever. Which at this moment, out of fear, is what I'm kind of hoping for!

P.S. I just drank cough syrup to calm myself down! I might be going nuts!"
