Garden Girl

Dress: Japan ( hand me down from my sis)
Jacket: Danier ( old, very old)
Shoes: Aldo ( also very old)
Fishnets: Hue ( most of my tights are Hue i think)
Sunglasses: H&M ( you probably are so bored of them)
Headband: Aldo Accessories

I took these pics in the backyard of my parents house. I also switched photographers so these photos are taken by my baby sis, Diana. She is a brutally honest person... she tells things as it is... even if sometimes they sound a little too harsh. You definitely need some thick skin to be around her. You probably read some of the comments she posted about my forced posing and how my feet look retarded in them. That's just her. Love her anyways.
About the outfit... I'm wearing my little maid dress. Tried to spicy it up a bit... that's why i wore it with fishnets and my black leather jacket from high school that does not fit me anymore. That's why on my shopping list a leather jacket is the number one thing I have to get. The shoes are also from high school. Have never worn them as they are too uncomfortable. I guess I accessorised this outfit with my high school stuff I never had the guts to get rid of... they have some sentimental value to them in one way or another.

P.S
My last outfit was nominated on Look 10. Check it out if u want. I also included a permanent link on the featured section of my blog.

Graphic Heads

rock on
rock on - by Fab Girl on Polyvore.com

I wanted to post another outfit today, but its raining in Vancouver so I cant do that... unless i take it inside the house which makes the pictures... meh!I played in polyvore again... this time with more casual outfits. Ever since I can remember, I have been obsessed with tees that have graphic heads on them. My style has changed a lot over my life but this one thing has always stayed the same... graphic head t-shirts. Love them!... oh yeah the eiffel tour one is not a graphic head... i know!

Hooding Around

Top: Sinbi Collection By Katherine Kim
Skirt: Moi Creation
Belt: some stand in Vegas
Tights: Calvin Klein
Shoes: H&M
Sunglasses: H&M

The Sinbi top is that type of versatile garment that you can wear it in multiple ways! I am showing it again with the cowl neck worn as a hood and the ties on the side. Oh how I wish I got this top in black.
The skirt is something I made during my fashion school years. I did not make it for fashion school. It was during those times that I actually made clothes for myself... I really wanted a black high waisted skirt with lots of volume so I just made it myself.
Anyways that's all I have to say about this outfit.
Today I went window shopping at H&M. I have already spent all my money so I could not buy anything but I am eyeing a couple of things... an accordion pleated skirt, a short jumpsuit, a floral skirt... and lots of other stuff I can't remember right now.

Windy Spring

Blazer: Suzy Sheer
Dress: Ebay from Hong Kong
Tights: H&M
Booties: Payless ( my chewed ones)
Necklace: Iran
Feather Hair Clip: Michael's

I finally got those photos taken outside and although the wind was really strong and I was shivering to death I must say that I am pleased with the results. From now on, no more photos inside, unless it rains that day which is a major probability since I live in Vancouver.

Panic at the disco

Sorry no outfit post today. I will take one this afternoon when I come home. Its a beautiful day so I will go outside to take my photos.
Anyways I have been playing in Polyvore again and have been obsessed with sequins lately. I had this vintage sequined skirt that was 5 sizes too big for me and this weekend i felt like playing seamstress and making it my size. Too bad i forgot that in one of my cleaning states I donated the skirt.
So for now I can only stare at these sequined pieces from Polyvore.

Flying on a persian scarf

Scar: gift
Dress: Aritzia
Tights: probably Hue or something like that
Shoes: Aldo
Headband: Claire's
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban

There is not much to say about this outfit. I just wanted to wear my Persian rug scarf that I got as a gift from my uncle.
I cant wait for the weather to warm up so I can take some pics outside in the daylight.
I will try maybe this Wednesday if the weather permits it to take some pics on the building's roof patio. It sucks because I live in the middle of downtown where there aren't many potential areas for a nice photo shoot. Everywhere u go people are rushing on their daily errands. I wish I lived in the suburbs again where I could take some pics in my backyard and then just rush back inside the house. Oh well! Maybe on the weekend when I go visit my parents.

Deslutting

Dress: Roberto Cavalli for H&M
Blazer: BCBG
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Tights: H&M
Boots: Payless

Have u ever bought into the craziness that the media produces about a designer's capsule collection for a mass retailer? I did with Roberto Cavalli for H&M. I used to worship him in my fashion school years ... when I was also single and loved slutty clothes and out there animal prints. anyways my style has long since changed but in the fall of 07 when his capsule collection came out I went nuts and bought the zebra slutty dress shown in the pics. I should mention that I did not buy it in the store, as it was already sold out by the time i got there ( i was 2 minutes late and the racks were empty)... I bought it on eBay and payed double the retail price... I just had to have the damn dress. Once i got it, I realized that this purchase was too impulsive... the dress was way too low cut for my current taste... it was just too damn slutty.

Anyways... this is my attempt to deslutt the dress by wearing it with my oversize blazer. I have been obsessed lately with wearing it. Yes deslutt is a made up word by me. I tend to invent a lot of them in case u have not realized that by now.
The only time I actually wore the dress in its slutty form was on NYE ... the only time I thought such a dress would be appropriate.
I am also planning on wearing it in the slutty format in the city of tackiness... yes u know which one I am talking about... VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blazer + Dresses

In response to every one's advice that I should post more outfits , I decided to play dress-up last night and show you guys this outfit.
Lately i have been obsessed with wearing my oversize blazer with dresses. Last night I thought of wearing it over my white dress to take away from the dress's fanciness. I also really wanted to showcase my stripper boots in an outfit. They turned out to look less strippery than i thought.

Here is the dress without the blazer:

My bf was making fun of my poses and my serious face so I cracked up.

Shoe Rant

Ok let's start with the bad news. Earlier this week, I discovered that my little devil of a dog chewed two of my shoes... one of them you have seen, the gray ankle booties... which was ok... they weren't my favorite pair... but what really pissed me off were my H&M pumps that I used to consider my go to pumps for business presentations and interviews. I am looking for a job in the next few weeks and my save-me shoes look like crap now... and it does not make it any better that I just blew the rest of this months money on two new pairs , neither appropriate for office interviews... maybe I should consider another industry where my shoes would be appropriate... maybe pole dancing?

I wanna cry when i see these pics... and what's funny only one of the shoes from each pair is chewed... the other one is fine. they still have the gray ones in store but i am not gonna bother but my H&M pumps... no more... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Anyways, the good news is that I got the cage wedge heels from Aldo. The heel is very comfy. The leather is a bit stiff. I guess i have to wear them in... pain in the @#%... excuse my language.

I also got these stripper-like boots from Payless. my mind has been on them for a long time. I saw Rumi rocking a similar pair... anyways they are actually a lot more comfy then they look.

and one last thing... I forgot to show you this pair of black and white peep-toes my mom bought for me. I call them my domino shoes.

High Sky

As promised, I return with a post about the Korean Air Flight Attendant uniform.
Wednesday i went over to my friend's hotel to see her off as she was leaving for her flight.
Last post I was ranting on about how their uniform is so much better in comparison to other airline's uniforms. Love the beige and the turquoise colour palette. Anyways here are some pics:
