Spin me around on the carousel to heaven!

 Dress:  Tracy Feith for Target
Shoes: Jessica

Before leaving for Mexico I had the pleasure of spending a whole day at PNE's 100 year anniversary fair! The weather was moody that day but I still had so much fun! Eating cotton candy, drinking lemonade and spinning in all the rides makes me feel like such a kid!

I know I was absent for the last week. This semester everything got crowded at the beginning instead of at the end. The good news is that you can expect regular posts for the remainder of the semester.

You are so cute with the cotton candy and the color of the dress is so pretty. Pai, stiu, tocmai de aceea imi selectez locatiile ca sa nu arat o latura ugly a orasului. Imi plac parcurile Ior si Carol foarte mult, iar pozele din ultima postare sunt din Ior. Have fun in Mexico, take lots of pictures for us to see.

You chose a very cute setting for your little photo shoot.
You blend perfectly in that decor full of color.

You look fabulous! Too bad from where I live, we can't look as good as you when we go to a fair. It's all muddy and whatnot. So, no heels and, sadly, dresses.

First of all let me say that I love this photoshoot. It's really my kind of thing, as I'm obsessed with amusement parks, cotton candy and COLORS.

You asked us to share some tips about indoor photography. Generally, we prefer to use natural light when possible, so we shoot in the brightest room in the apartment, when the sun is shining. If that's not possible, we have to raise the ISO speed, and if the photos turn out grainy, we use Photoshop to remove the noise. We also use photo editing software to enhance the colors or brighten the images if they turn out too dark. In this case, it's indicated that you shoot in RAW format, so as not to affect the image quality.

If you want the subject to be brighter, you can also use a reflector. Moreover, if there's not enough available natural light, you will have to use the camera flash (it's better to have an external one than to use the built-in flash). Also, always make sure that you set the correct white balance, to avoid the pics looking too yellow because of the incandescent light.

These are a few general tips. I hope you find them useful. The most important piece of advice is that you use as much natural light as possible, as light is the key factor to every good image.

If you have more questions I'd be glad to answer them.
