One more meet-up

I finally got my internet connection to work well enough so that I can post pictures. Yey! At the end of the trip.

These pics are from Wednesday. I went out in the morning at Plaza( a shopping mall)with my cousin and a friend I had not seen in ages. We talked through coffee and then as we were walking around the mall we had the idea of going and playing "PITZI" dress-up at Zara. "Pitzi" as I just recently discovered is a Romanian term for a slutty, flashy girl. To be sincere I have not seen many in Bucharest but I'm told its a huge trend. My camera got screwed up at Zara so I have no pics to show you but we made so much noise that we almost got kicked out.

In the afternoon I met up with Nookie( Fashion in my Eyes) and Alice( Dulapul Bunicii)at the Actors Cafe where we chatted for hours once again while having ice cream. I also got some amazing things designed and hand made by Alice herself. Here I am trying a couple of different options... there were so many ... I couldn't decide.



Anyways I really hope I will get to go out at least once more with the girls before I leave. My trip is almost coming to an end here in Romania and I'm actually a bit sad about it.

Away for 3 days

Hello my darlings!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a quick message to let you know that I'm away till Sunday at my grandparents and by some miracle I was able to get a weak internet connection to post this. It takes 5 minutes to load a page. I'm very sorry that I can not post the photos from Wednesday. I met up with Nookie and Alice once again. The minute I get back to Bucharest you will have details unless by some miracle my internet connection get stronger here and I will be able to upload photos.

I also want to apologize for my sporadic returned comments. I do not have as much free time here as I do back home...there are a lot of people to be seen...I promise once I get back comments will become a regular thing. I really want to thank all of you who follow my blog. Your support and comments mean a lot to me and they let me know what I do right and what I do wrong.

On another note, I already went through some of my gramma's things from the 60's and 70's and found some amazing cute things. Photos of those will also be coming when I get back.

Mojitos @ Carturesti

Yesterday night I met up with Nookie from Fashion in My Eyes and Alice from Dulapul Bunicii at Carturesti for some mojitos and lemonade. I had the most amazing time ever. Both girls are so amazingly cool. Nookie has the same hilarious sense of humor in person as she does on her blog. Alice is extremely sweet and gives you the feeling that you have known her for years and she is one of your closest friends. Overall I had a great time and I'm excited to see them again on Wednesday.

Too buzzed to sleep

hello my darlings!!!!

I have arrived in Romania for 2 days now. The first day I did not do anything because I was way too tired. Unfortunately I was way too buzzed to fall asleep so I played dress up in my mom 80's clothes that she left in our house in Romania. I found quite a couple of interesting things, one of those being this pleated printed skirt. Its way too long as it is obviously... I'm planning on hemming it to the knee when i get back... but I loved the pattern and the pleating and so its definitely a keeper.
This is just a little outfit pic I took while being bored.
The next day went to a BBQ and wore nothing too spectacular to share with you guys.
I'm unsure of my plans today but will definitely share them with you if I do end up doing something interesting.
Sorry for the bad quality of the photos. My bf did not travel with me and neither has his Canon. Therefore my point and shoot will have to do the job while I'm here. I did not choose the greatest lighting either so that could also be one the reasons for the not so amazing photo quality. Will try to be more careful next time.

Off to Romania

This is what I wore last night for my goodbye dinner. My bf spoiled me again and took me to Morton's Steakhouse. This one is an international chain all across North America so if you have one in your city I definitely recommend going to it... just make sure you get invited though because the prices are so steep.

My darlings I'm off to Romania tomorrow till September 5th. Updates will be coming as usual. I know i slowed them down this week but that's because I was really busy studying for my finals. Tomorrow I write a 3 H exam and then go on a 10 H flight. Exciting right? NOT. Walked the Burrard Bridge today and wore clothes from labels starting with A mostly. Actually the second and third pic could be an AA ad as the majority of the items are from their store.
I'm also getting very excited for my trip to Romania... will be leaving in exactly one week! Can't wait to meet all the wonderful bloggers from there. Don't worry my darlings... I will be updating the blog while on this trip so you wont miss out on anything.

So I decided to show you guys one other thing I bought while I was in Toronto. We don't have Forever 21 here in Vancouver so I was really excited to be able to go there. I bough the white blazer u guys can see and the Egyptian style statement necklace... I really liked it in the store but now I realize this piece would be a lot more valuable if I actually had a job.

P.S. I think i don't like these jeans anymore.... they make me look fat.
