A day in Chinatown

As I have already mentioned I got to spend my Saturday with Jen in Chinatown. It hit me that this was my second time there ever since I have moved to this city 12 years ago!

One thing I realized I don't do enough of is show you the interesting neighborhoods of this amazing city. This will have to change for the future. So without further ado I present to you Vancouver's Chinatown with the promise to return with amazing pictures of the other cool places to go in this city if you ever find yourself visiting!

I don't know why I don't come here more often. You can find the most exquisite things at ridiculously cheap prices. It truly is a shopping haven; you can find everything from your much needed groceries to aromatic teas, jewelery, traditional Chinese costumes and furniture. Right now I have my eyes on these two blue floral painted table lamps. For $29.99 each they are such an inexpensive way to add a little bit of colour to my pretty much monochromatic house!  I cant wait to return to get them as well as get some cute teapots and matching cups.
Plus the food here is to die for. You can truly find yummy Authentic Chinese food!

Thanks for your sweet comment! I appreciate it. <3 I would love to see a video from you. :) My laryngitis was awful! lol.

Anyway, if you think the things at Chinatown are cheap, wait till you actually go to China itself! I'm part Chinese and I just love how vibrant the culture is.

I love these pictures as one of my favorite things in the world is to "explore" a city. I would love to have a Chinatown here in Bucharest instead of let's say Ferentari:))))). You and Jen look beautiful, love the cots and your headband!:)

Oh what beautiful photos! I love those umbrellas, I want something like that just to keep it.
That editorial in Harper's is one of three. I am guessing the other one featuring Julia Hafstrom as a model might be the copied one. Or the one with Natalia Vodianova which I've seen in UK's issue. I know Romanians copy stuff, I have a issue of Maria Claire with Emma Watson and it's exactly the same one as this month's from UK.

This is the make-up I was talking about! I wanted to tell you as soon as I saw the post but I had some things that I needed to attend first :) Now I can relax, admire your pictures and tell you how amazing this coat is and that you are both gorgeous! :*

Oh wow, you moved there 12 years ago and you only went twice? If I lived there, I would have visited everyday. I love Asian culture so much, but you probably know this by now :))
You really seem to enjoy yourself there and I hope you get to buy everything that caught your eye there.
About the bangs, I know what you mean. I only kept my fringe for 1 year because I was doing all the work, otherwise I would have never gone through with it.
Making appointments at the hair salon every month and all it's so annoying. Lucky me I was able to cut it by myself, I thought what could be so hard, so, I found a pair of scissors in my house and went for it. Kids, do not try this at home.

I love these photos of you and Jen. I admit that I can't remember the last time I visited China town! How tragic.
