Ivory and Ebony

Saturday I had the pleasure of spending another lovely afternoon alongside the amazing Jen from Her Waise Choice. We really are becoming such a great duo. Notice how we dressed in contrasting colored coats!

I love spending time with Jen... she is such a great inspiration for me.
Her style is amazingly glamorous and elegant and I always find our conversations on fashion extremely interesting.
This will most definitely become a regular thing as we are getting more comfortable and closer to one another with each meeting!

Jen is wearing: No name coat, a combination of tights from Joe Fresh and Forever 21, Zara shoes,  Michael by Michael Kors clutch

I am wearing: Zara coat, H&M Top, Skirt & Tights, Payless boots, Target gloves, Vintage bag, Aldo jeweled headband

We hit Chinatown this time as it was long in the plans since our first meeting.
Culturally it was an overwhelming experience.
We started out eating BBQ meats in this little restaurant , then we took a stroll through Dr. Sun Yat Sen Garden and finished off shopping the great little Chinese shops in the neighborhood.

You two are sooooo lovely. You remind me of my best friend back in Romania. We used to browse the stores and talk about fashion for hours without getting bored.... Ohh how I miss those times...

I love your coat and the skirt. I have been told that I have to stay away from big colored prints if I wanna look more sophisticated (since I am trying to dress more appropriate for my 30s ), but I think that it's not a must-do. You look amazing, elegant and sophisticated in that skirt. I am learning a lot from your style!! Kisses!

It's true! You are both lovely my dear! And the shots, I'm going crazy over here . . simply editorial. And I do love what you two did with the outfits, they both have a similar shape, but they're still different enough to illustrate each of your personalities. Beautifully done!

Ohh, you both look lovely! I love how simple and monochrome Jen's outfit is, but then there is the little pop of interestingness from the lace tights. Also, I really like the not quite white, but not quite beige of your coat.

Mina, I have no clue what happened with the domains earlier today! They both redirected to some godaddy page.

Anyway, I was thinking today that maybe the 4 of us can go out over the holidays and dress up for that to do another shoot? Let me know if you're interested/have the time for that!

Good luck on the rest of your paper!! :)

Aw, Mina, such a lovely story :D. Si eu a crezut destul de mult timp in Mos Nicolae si Mos Craciun. Si pe mine m-au pacalit parintii de cateva ori ;)).

Poseta am gasit-o pe un blog romanesc cu vintage stuff, and it was incredibily cheap. It looks authentic, though, I guess I was just lucky.

Girls love motorbikes, and by extension, girls love bikers. That's why a cool biker Leather Jacket is a chick magnet and all you have to do is put your arms out and haul them in. So wouldn't you like to attract girls like bees round a honey pot?

You and Jen are so cute! You girls look super glamorous, I bet the sketch bags in Chinatown were confused. Although, I think they're always confused. I love the print of that skirt and how you wore it in the winter to brighten up the outfit! xo
