Le Gaudy Chic

Every time I'm asked to describe my style I'm at a loss for words.
Is it really bohemian?
Sometimes it more feminine... hmmm.... I Don't really know!
Then I started looking for an obvious pattern.

Ever since I can remember I have been attracted to tacky, gaudy details.I enjoy flamboyancy and over the top obnoxiousness. Not because I am trying to stand out in a crowd of neutrals, but I sincerely feel drawn to anything that sparkles. That includes gold, sequins and anything bejeweled. Blame my middle eastern side, cause we sure like to pile on the Bling back there!

Add in the leopard print and I think this outfit pretty much sums up what my style is all about!

Sweater Dress: Thrifted
Clutch: Vintage
Earrings: Vintage
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban
Tights: Calvin Klein
Shoes: Jeffrey Campbell
Gloves: 7 years old from Old Navy

I love so much the whole outfit.Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
It has a flair of the 80s with your own chic and style.
I adore that jumper and all the embroidered details in it.
The gloves gives a wild look to the whole ensemble.
Fabulous and inspiring my dear friend.

Fashion should be fun, so.. if you love bling, why not wear it? In every possible form. I absolutely LOVE the sweater and the clutch. And the font of your new header :D.

Honey, you might be atracted to tacky but you're anything but tacky. Your style is so unique and classy that i could wear almost everything in your weardrobe. I mean, look at that sweater...absolutely stunning! I adore the details and those leopard print gloves fit perfectly.
You're such a big inspiration to me!

P.S I'm not good at describing my style either, it's just a huge mix:))

I am in love with your clutch and the print of your sweater. I can describe your style for you, it's AWESOME, there, now you know.
Really, you have an amazing sense of style. You can even be the next Jackie O. In terms of elegance you can compete with any woman.
I really want to thank you for the lovely comment you left on my latest post. It's true I am going through some changes and I am glad you support me.

Love the sweater dress, the detailing is so pretty! Those colourful stones...Haha...I like how you style your Bling, it's definitely not OTT, but actually very chic, in my opinion.

This outfit is awesome for so many reasons! The bejeweled '80s-inspired sweater, the leopard-print gloves, the gorgeous shade of lipstick, the earrings...! This is such an eclectic, fancy look, and it all works so perfectly. And your bun is also a nice little touch of sophistication to top it off. I love how it looks! xx

Same here, Mina! I didn’t see a glittery, shiny piece of clothes that I didn’t like yet so I hear you. But you’re not tacky at all, I mean that’s the last thing I would ever say about you’re style. You’re just fabulous and creative and definitely not a slave to the trends which is a huge plus for me!:)
