Flea Marketing

Over the weekend, I had the chance to go to 2 different flea markets. I must tell you that I enjoy flea market season like no other. Not even thrift stores beat the prices and you can always leave with bags full of gems.

Here are some of my finds; if I would show them all, this post would become insanely long.

The trio of belts: gold, silver and mixed ($2 each)

Pumps ( $1) decorated with a new pair of candy coloured earrings ($1)

Statement necklace and the most expensive piece ( $5)

La piece de resistance: gold pleated skirt in outstanding condition for yes just a $1

Faux-fur scarf  $3 ( not even vintage fur is OK to me) & imitation croc skin clutch $ 4

I will come back with another post with a detailed guide that has never failed me on how to shop flea markets

Mina, let's do this the next time we meet!!! Amazing finds. I need you to bring me to those West Van markets you told me about!

I don't finish exams until the 27th :( Can we wait until then to meet? Do you think the cherry blossoms will still be out?

I am a flea market fanatic, and we do have them in Romania in every major city at least, with flea markets you never know what you are going to get, yo need some luck and a lot of patience to sort through everything but mostly it's a very rewarding experience, I see it was definitely so for yo...congrats on your great finds! I love, love the idea of decorating the shoes with the earrings, this is why your outfits are always so original.

O-M-G, that skirt is absolutely gorgeous!! The fact that is pleated, which is my current obsession, and that it has a metallic touch, it results a fabulous piece of clothing! Can't wait to see you wear it :D

Yes, those photos are made at my school, maybe I will take you, if we will have time, it doesn't seem so spectacular when you see it in a bigger picture, or maybe it's just me..
