Art Girl

Going through these photos reminded me of the time I used to be in fashion school and I used to spend half of my time and money at Opus buying supplies for school and lugging around a portfolio similar in size to the frames I'm carrying. Although I will never go as far to say that I regret leaving half way through fashion school ( business school was the best decision of my life) , I somehow miss those days. Although I was frantic and tired all the time, I did get a bit of enjoyment being part of the artsier scene, where my imagination was explored to its fullest potential!

P.S. Check out the interview I did for Pret A Protester's Street Stalker Section! Sorry for my English readers; the interview is in Romanian although I'm sure you can spot some English words here and there!

Trench: Bebe
Top: H&M

That happens sometimes, right? We do not regret the path we have taken but we do miss the one we left behind! :)

Oh yes, the stress of fashion school.. I really don't know how is it there, but here it's kind of numb these days, although exams are approaching. Anyway, I love this outfit, the skirt is very lovely , it has a very nice color and you look lovely like this :D

I adore this outfit!! I think it's one of my faves. The skirt is amazing, both in colour and silhouette, and the patterned shirt is a brilliant choice. And I too started in the arts but then moved towards business. And love it. Hope you're enjoying this gorgeous Vancouver day. xx veronika

Something about this look just screams art and/or fashion school drop out... I already had that in the back of my mind before I scrolled down to read your post :) I love the combination of your coral skirt and that adorable printed blouse. And of course the location where these photos were taken speaks to me personally- great minds really do think alike ;)

Love all the colours in this outfit! It's funny... I actually went the full corporate route (law school and the whole she-bang), which I did want, but there is this part of me that wishes I had given into my creative interests at times despite how impractical it all seemed. I'm really hoping that after a few years and some money saved up I'll be able to at least try it out.

Hope you're enjoying the weather! I love reading other Vancouver bloggers since I recognize all the photo spots :)

You have this way of making every piece you wear look like it's worth a million bucks. That skirt is amazing on you. I never would have guess it's from H&M. xo
