Lace & Leather

How can one wear a Victorian blouse without looking stuck in the past? How about wearing a leather mini without appearing skanky? The answer for me was obvious: Combine the two together! I've always enjoyed the juxtaposition between tough elements and delicate details. I believe it makes for a more unexpected look than a head-to-toe style!

I absolutely love the combination of the two together! It's amazing how two completely opposite textures mesh so well together. Those heels are absolutely killer. I adore the hairstyle too :)

What a greate idea! I also have a delicate blouse (from my mom) but never wear it beacuase I couldn`t find the right pair of pants or a nice skirt! But this combination it`s just perfect! Thanks, Mina.

Well, this is definitely the best way to wear lace blouses! :o) Think I should invest in a black leather skirt now...

This outfit has absolutely perfect contrast! The Victorian top and leather mini aren't two pieces I would ever have thought to pair, but you're absolutely right- they're a perfectly natural combination and look just beautiful together. Your ribbon braid adds just a little ethnic touch that makes this look even more unique. Love it! Can't wait to meet you on Sunday :)
