( tunic: Japan, tights:H&M, boots: Payless, headband: Claire's)
my dog always insists on being in the pictures. He is planning on becoming a doggy model!
So this is the other outfit that I promised I will post. Sorry for the lack of traffic on my part for the last two days. I have been busy making a business plan for a clothing company. We'll see how that goes. The tunic again courtesy of my sister, from Japan of course. This is also one of her cast-offs that she gave me last year. I don't think she ever wore this. I remember when she still loved it how much i wanted it and I kept asking her to lend it to me. Couple of months later IT WAS MINE!!!!!!!! ... and sorry for the sad face in the last picture. I was not sad! just wanted to take a close-up of the print and i guess I turned out sad :(

Flower Child
(top: Pinky Girls from Japan, Jeans: Urban Outfitters, Boots: Payless, Headband : Claire's)
I couldn't resist going back to my boho chic self and posting this outfit. The top is from Japan courtesy of my sis. She bought it especilly for me after I send her the link of this Japanese store's website called Pinky Girls. Found out about it from my lovely friend Jess who had just purchased online some pieces and was kind enough to show the website to me. That's all it took for me to spot this bohemian blouse.
I have one more boho chic outfit to post. I'll do that tomorow!

Oscar Fashion Police
Any true fashionista will tell you that the best part of the Oscars are the arrivals when all the stars reveal their beautiful gowns.
Here are some of my favorites for this year:
Kate Winslet in Atelier Yves Saint Laurent by Stefano Pilati
Sarah Jessica Parker in Dior Haute Couture
Can not remember her dress right now ( will get back to you)
Can not remember Penelope's dress either( again I apologize and will get back to you)
Miley Cyrus in Zuhair Murad
Marisa Tomei in Versace
Vanessa Hudgens in Marchesa
Natalie Portman in Rodarte
And the Oscar for worst dressed goes to..... BEYONCE!!!!!!!! FOR RAIDING SOME UGLY CURTAINS AND MAKING A DRESS OUT OF THEM!
i can't and won't remember who designed this monstrosity of a dress!

Bon Voyage
A good friend of mine is going to Nice in two months and asked me to help her shop for her vacation. Unfortunately we leave on opposite sides of the world,me in Canada, her in Germany.Since I can not personally shop with her i decided that today's post is all about your beach travel essentials.
Here are the things to bring with you on your next beach vacation:
1.a sexy swimsuit in a solid color ( prints are the first thing that outdate a swimsuit). Plss stay away from florals of any kind. A bikini in a solid color like black or white will give you the most wears, season after season. For a more stylish option, try a monokini with some sexy cut-outs.
2. A comfortable pair of gladiators for day & a pair of wedges for night.
3. A printed maxi dress ... perfect for both day and night.
4. A caftan... a stylish throw over your swimsuit.
5. A pair of glamorous sunglasses... try aviators for a more effortless chic.
6. City shorts... Nice is still a city so you don't want to look like a beach bum all day long. Try them in a light neutral such as beige or white.
7. A shirt dress... again when u wanna look more polished. Pair it with your wedges for a nice lunch on the town.
8.A straw beach bag...perfect for carrying your beach essentials.Tie a scarf around the handles for extra chicness.
9. A white feminine sundress.
Lets not forget to keep our makeup minimal. This is not the time to sport red lips and liquid liner... go for some tinted moisturizer with an SPF of at least 15( gone are the days of baking our skin), some cream bronzer, waterproof mascara, and a dab of lipgloss.
All of today's pictures are from Victoria Secret. Check out its website for more beach style ideas!

McQueen for Target
Mark your calendar girls.... Alexander McQueen is revealing his capsule line for Target in stores on March 4th. Some of us ( me included) will have to take a trip down to the U.S. to be able to get our hands on those goodies. I am dreaming about the black leather vest and the black MCQ tee with the girl head graphic... ooohhhh and maybe the gray skinnies as well.
Happy Shopping!!!!!! and make sure to tune in tomorrow as I will unveil the second part of the collection.

Uptown Bitch
So I am very much obsessed with Olivia Palermo's style... I think I check her style thread on The Fashion Spot around 20 times a day for new outfit posts.
Having just discovered the existence of style blogs while having her as my style icon has triggered me to start my own blog for showcasing my style epiphanies on my way towards fabulosity.
Hence how Faboulista is born!!!!
Since I had nothing better to do today, I decided to recreate one of Olivia's outfits my way! Enjoy my very first outfit!
Sorry for the post's name but she has the bitchiest personality EVER! I still love her style though!
Her way:
My Way:
My dog Max, insisted on playing Olivia's Mr. Butler even though he was not present in her photos.
